A Reason to Celebrate

Has March Madness taken hold of you yet? It’s been described as “one of the biggest, most exciting and most fun events in all of sports.”  With the NCAA Final Four men’s championship coming to Minneapolis, there’s no doubt there will be great displays of teamwork and much cause for celebration around here.

Whether or not you’re a sports fan, chances are, you’re part of a team.  In business, we often talk about the importance of teams and teamwork, yet we tend to overlook the importance of celebration. Not celebrating achievements – both big and small – is truly a missed opportunity.  When we celebrate accomplishments and milestones along the way, it helps motivate, inspire, deepen relationships and build morale within our teams.  And who doesn’t want more of that?!

This year, as The Resultants™ celebrate 20 years of service to entrepreneurial owners and their teams, we’ve been reflecting on the entire journey.  I’d like to invite you to read about how it all began, touch on some of our achievements and share some fun facts by checking out Our History.  For example, many of our clients know us as the “Team Behind The Team and for us, this is far more than a slogan.  It’s a core value that dates back to our firm’s inception.

The Resultants President and Co-Founder, Steve Wilcox, recently shared:

Looking back, I remember how much I wanted to help entrepreneurs and their families leverage their businesses to make a difference, not only for themselves, but for others. As we’ve grown and evolved, our foundational core values have helped guide us and have attracted like-minded team members and partners. It hasn’t always been smooth sailing and we’ve hit the ceiling ourselves so many times that you’d think we’d have permanent concussions. But that’s the unique gift most entrepreneurs have in common … we bounce back. We learn, grow, re-invent, rebuild, find new momentum, push boundaries and break through barriers. And we proudly redefine ‘resiliency’ as we go.

Thank you again for being a part of The Resultants story. And, join us as we eagerly look forward to the next 20 years and celebrating achievements – both big and small!
